We are fast approaching the end of the school year, so it was about time I did something with photos from the first day of school, don't you think? I've been searching for the right paper colors to help coordinate everything, and I finally decided on the Stella paper in our Studio J online scrapbooking program. This layout could be created with regular scrapbooking papers, too.
I love the memories of these photos. My daughter was pretending to be grouchy and wouldn't wear her backpack. I was very fortunate to even catch a smile from her! My son likes green, so he chose to wear everything camouflage and green on the first day of school. Isn't that hydrangea bush behind him just absolutely lovely?
Our youngest can hardly wait for his brother and sister to return home from school each day so that he can play with them. On the second page of this layout I included photos of them all eating ice-pops on the porch on a sunny afternoon during the first few weeks of school. Scrapbooking is a way to bottle up the memories and feelings from such a special time in our lives. How quickly children grow up and change!
