Using paper scraps
[update]: Congratulations to Rachael M, who will receive one of these cards in the mail!
What do you do with your left-over scraps of paper?
If you are like me, you feel like patterned paper is too pretty to throw away.
Tonight I decided to do something with these "left-over" strips of patterned paper.
When I started, the strips were either 1 1/2 inches wide or 1 inch wide and 12 inches long.
First I took this strip and cut in into pieces that were 3 3/4 inches long.
Then I glued the strips onto an invitation sized card
(Card dimensions: 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 inches)
Add some more scraps
Throw in a little stamping.
Add some bling.
And assemble.
Each card turned out a little different...
On this one I used pearls instead of sparkles, and there were four strips of patterned paper instead of three.
Still cute.
Two hours later:
11 cards with stamped, coordinating envelopes.

These cards turned out great. I have done a similar design, but never started with "scraps" Just another way to look at our paper.
